paul artha, author of dreamwalkers
Paul Artha was born in Melbourne, Australia.

Growing up, Paul was always noted for his artistic abilities, particularly in the field of painting and drawing, and while his peers never doubted he could forge a successful career within its various fields, something would change all that. As he likes to phrase it, at sixteen he became aware of the opposite sex. From here his journey to become a writer took on a life of its own and his fondest of the arts would take a dramatic shift towards creative writing.

Those last years of high school Paul honed his craft through writing the odd love letter, and knowing the effect it would have made him even more determined to continue on this path.

Over the years his journey towards becoming a published writer took various unforeseen turns, and while his passion never waned, family (both his daughters have strong artistic flares - one as a writer and the other who helped design the cover certainly have similar attributes), friends and work commitments made the task seem almost impossible at times.

That would all change with the passing of Paul’s mother. Shortly after her death, he was left with what can only be described as an unexplainable experience - a dream which felt so real, leaving him not only with more emotional scars, but a concept for a novel and a renewed focus. The original theme has changed, but the basic idea was born.

Paul hopes to one day to become a noted writer of fiction. The second novel in this series is well underway.

Paul’s philosophy is simple - if you can walk, you can dance. If you can talk, you can sing... it is all up to you!

Michelle du Toit, author of Stories from the Prince of Mystery

South African author Michelle du Toit’s love of stories was awakened in early childhood, when she nestled on her mother’s lap listening to her nightly tales. Her mom was a Waldorf School teacher who subscribed to anthroposophy, the esoteric philosophy upon which Waldorf teaching methods are based. But in her teens Michelle went her own way. Following an earnest effort to find God through Eastern meditation, she enjoyed a four-year flirtation with agnosticism, during which time she established herself as an actress and playwright in her home country. She stumbled on Christianity while studying the Jehovah’s Witnesses with the intent to satirise them in a play – but “Someone” turned the tables on her and she converted to Christianity in her mid 20s. Although she finally found her home in the Orthodox Church, her search first led her through Pentecostalism, various Protestant churches and Roman Catholicism. As such, the stories in this book are not representative of any particular dogmatic position, but rather reflect some of the questions she grappled with during her journey, or which other people or situations posed to her. She has a Bachelor of Theology degree (cum laude) and has just completed reading for her Master of Philosophy in Theology degree.
